Same festival, sorted by place instead of by day. Where do you go, and for what?
Emigration to the Future runs across seven venues in Berlin-Wedding, plus one walking route and one project online. Most of the programme — installations, plays, concerts, most of the evening line-up — lives in one place: ExBrache, the garden at ExRotaprint. The rest is spread through the district: a supermarket car park, a project room, two lecture venues, an S-Bahn platform, a private flat in Neukölln.

Tonight, we open Emigration to the Future with a coffin in the sky.
At 18:00, Maxim Evstropov — artist, philosopher and founder of the Party of the Dead — opens the festival with Necro Kite Festival, a workshop and performance in the Lidl car park.
The performance grows from Russian cosmism, which imagined defeating death, resurrecting the dead and expanding human life into space. Evstropov turns that enormous promise into an absurd collective gesture: together, we will build a coffin kite and launch it into the Berlin sky.
The Party of the Dead works with necro-activism, Dadaist absurdity and black humour, confronting the political appropriation of death, memory and the future.
Come to the opening. Help the coffin take flight.

All of that is being answered in the second talk/wine tasting event of the "Smart Emigration to the Future" sub-festival of "Emigration to the Future" festival in Berlin. Nikolai Trofimov, a Ph.D. Candidate, University of Bremen. Rocks are his thing.
He has hunted for gold, worked at a particle accelerator, accidentally improved the lab's ventilation with a very small explosion, and can explain how to cook a dumpling using just a single drop of water.
Now he has turned his attention to a question that truly matters: why does wine taste the way it does? And he provides this answer in collaboration with Aglaia Tcidulko.
