With miners having less than a month to move their hashrate EMCD is ready to help with a transition. Former SBI Crypto miners can get 3 months of fee-free mining with EMCD.
Its Norway unit signed a conditional lease for the Tydal site, another sign of miners trying to monetize power and data-center capacity for AI workloads.
The company said net proceeds may be used for general corporate purposes, capital investment including GPUs, and data center development.
The company expects to split on July 2, with ABTC shares starting to trade on a split-adjusted basis on Nasdaq from July 6.
New research suggests GPU clusters can reduce or shift some power use over to AI, but the evidence is still early and small-scale.
