This material is for the same topic. After reading the story you can have your students do some tasks and enjoy a game.
How to use the material:
1. Run the presentation. Click on the blue arrow on the bottom right corner.
2. Choose from categories. The categories are "Headless Sentences", "True or False?", "Bubble Blast" and "Did you know...?"
3. There are 10 sentences in "Headless sentences". Students should find the beginning of each statement.
4. "True or False?" category also contains 10 statements. Students read and say if they are true or false.
5. In "Bubble Blast" game students have to put the words in the bubbles in the correct order and make a sentence.
6. "Did You Know...?" part has photos of key words from the story and some interesting facts related to them. Have students read and translate the facts.

Here is a set of exercises for 11th grade students, as I promised 😊🤓🤩. There are 4 activities from the first lesson of Unit 10, i.e. 1A. The Preparation.
How to use:
Run the presentation by pressing F5. Go to the menu slide and choose an activity.
Activity 1. Click on the photo to see which word matches it. Encourage students to make sentences using those words.
Activity 2. Click on the definition to see which word matches it.
Activity 3. Click on the speaker icon to play the recording.
Activity 4. Have students read the definition and choose a word from the right. If the answer is correct, you will see the definition for the next word. If not, "Try Again" sign. Click on the sign to go back.
P.S. At the top right hand corner there is "Home" icon. Click on it to go to the menu slide.

The “Word Randomizer” game is designed for revising the vocabulary from Unit 10 Lesson 2A. My Dream Job (Grade 11). The aim is to help students consolidate and remember the new words by engaging them in speaking and listening activities. When you click on the “ Play” button, the words will start changing. Click on the “Stop” button to choose a random word. The material can be used in several ways.
Variation 1.
Students read the word and give its definition or use it in a sentence. This can also be organized as a team game. Divide the class into teams. Each team gets one point for the correct answer.
Variation 2.
Divide the class into teams. Have one member from each team to come in front of the class and sit with their back to the board. In turns, the teams give the definition of the word chosen. Students on the chairs guess.
Variation 3.
Bingo. Students draw a 9-square grid in their notebooks and fill them with any words from ex. 2 p. 162 and ex. 5 p. 164. Run the randomizer. Students who have the word in their grid cross it out. The first student to cross out all the words wins.
Variation 4.
Expanding texts. After selecting a word, invite students to add one, two or three words to it. For example, if the word is “update”, they might suggest “Update your knowledge!” They go on suggesting additions of a maximum three words each time, making a longer and longer text. The rule is that they can only add at the beginning or end of what is already written – otherwise you will end up with a rather untidy (and hard to read) series of additions.
