Interactive notebooks are a very interesting tool to use in teaching. They help students to organize their thoughts and you can address more than one learning style at the same time.

Begin the lesson by announcing that you have an unusual guest today - a shy giraffe. Tell them that pupils will have to make some effort to see its entire body.
π¦ Shuffle the cards with words and give them out equally to all the pupils. Pupils can spread the cards in front of themselves on the table.
π¦ Put the giraffeβs head and the first word on the table (e.g. BAG)
π¦ A pupil sitting to the left looks at his cards and puts the next word but this word must have one different letter (e.g. BAT)
If a pupil does not have such word s/he misses a turn.
π¦ The game continues this way clockwise:
- bag
- bat
- fat
- fan
- man
- mat
- hat
- ham
- ...
π¦ The pupil who managed to get rid of all the cards is the winner.
π¦ If there are still cards left but nobody can add any, the game stops. Count the cards. The pupil with the least number of cards is the winner.

Congratulations to one of our channel members - Shaxzoda! She got a request from Washington to choose what time she would prefer to do her TEA (Teaching Excellence and Achievement) Program. (It might be postponed due to current situation with coronavirus).
Shaxzoda, you hit a home run π€©π€©π€©. All your hard work and efforts paid off. Happy for you π₯³π₯³π₯³!!!
The number of TEA program participants at ELTresources is growing. Amazing, isn't it?!
