This Power Point presentation can be used for practicing speaking skills. There are pictures of writers from pages 30-31 of Teens' English 8 coursebook.
Put the presentation on the slide show mode by pressing F5. Click on the screen and you will see a picture of a writer, e.g. Alisher Navoi. Ask a student to name the writer and give as much information about him as possible. Hope you will find it useful and feel free to share it with your colleagues.
