Meet Maria Mysik, the conference workshop presenter from Yekaterinburg!

In Maria's workshop "Checking the Communicative Task Achievement" the attendees will practice to reconstruct the communicative task while analysing students' responses. Implemented in classroom, this technique can boost students' reflexivity and self-assessment capacity. The workshop will be conducted on Aug 28, 2025.

Meet Maxim Petrov, the conference workshop presenter from Yekaterinburg!

On Aug 29, 2025 Maxim will conduct a workshop aimed at demonstrating how pronunciation and grammar can be intertwined when it comes to communicative language teaching . The participants of the workshop will learn to use :
1) glottalization and «it» as a preparatory object to talk about their likes and dislikes;
2) elision and perfect infinitives with «should» to criticise somebody's past actions;
3) fall-rising intonation and discourse markers to express their opinions.
Such ideas and examples will help the participants teach their students to sound more confident, natural and fluent in English.
