5 Ways You Can Do Mission
Maybe you want to get involved with what God is doing in your local community but you're not sure where to start. We have five tips for you to help you partner with the Spirit in the work of mission.
1️⃣ Serve With Your Church
Find out what your church is already doing in the local community and get involved with that. Whether it's helping at a food bank, youth group or community event, serving with your local church is a great way to do mission.
2️⃣ Join a Small Group
Mission is not supposed to be done by yourself; we all need each other. Join a small group, and together you can prayerfully consider how you can get involved with God's mission.
3️⃣ Serve Your Street
Sometimes it's best to just start where you are. Find out the names of your neighbours and pray for them regularly. Look for ways you can show God's love to them in practical ways, and be ready for opportunities to explain why you're doing these things. Identify a pers...

Elim Missionaries are working across the world building God's kingdom in amazing ways. We work in Asia, Central & Southern Africa, East & West Africa, Europe and The Americas.
Some specific prayer points:
🌏 For the nation and community that each Missionary is serving
💷 For continued financial and practical provision
🤲 That God will continue to sustain and equip each Missionary for the work to which He has called them, particularly during this time of transition in Malvern

Jackie Griffiths is an Elim Missionary in Malawi. Read about her in her own words:
I grew up in Swansea and attended the Elim Church with my parents. My interest in overseas missions began as a child through family friends who were missionaries. I entered Elim Bible College as a student in 1983 and completed the two year course. As the course was nearing completion, I was invited to join the staff and fulfilled a variety of roles including Faculty Administrator/Registrar spanning over a period of 22 years. I left Regents Theological College in 2007 to work with the Elim Church in Malawi, helping to establish and set up a Bible School. Following my term there I worked in Haiti for 18 months following the devastating earthquake.
I am currently working with a Christian charity called Chifona Trust, situated in a rural community in Thyolo District, just over one hour's drive from the commercial city of Blantyre.

We are committed to raising and releasing missionaries to go to the nations and make disciples, but we also believe in the call for every Christian to live as a missionary where they are. 🕊
Charles Spurgeon once said, “If Jesus is precious to you, you will not be able to keep your good news to yourself. You will be whispering it into your child’s ear. You will be telling it to your husband. You will be earnestly imparting it to your friend. Without the charms of eloquence you will be more than eloquent: your heart will speak, and your eyes will flash as you talk of His sweet love. Every Christian here is either a missionary or an imposter.” 💬
