➼ The ' Annual India Leadership Summit',hosted by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, will be held in New Delhi on October 14.

➼ The fourth edition of the Hockey India Senior Women's Inter-Departmental National Championship will begin from October 14 at  the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi .

➼ India's ' Tanya Hemanth' has won the women's singles title in the Bendigo International Challenge badminton tournament.

➼ India's top women pair ' Ayhika Mukherjee' and ' Sutirtha Mukherjee' have won the bronze medal  in the Asian Table Tennis Championship 2024.

➼ The Central Government has approved the public sector enterprise ' Hindustan Aeronautics Limited' (HAL) as the 14th Maharatna.

➼ Famous former radio presenter and musician of Akashvani Darbhanga ' Indranand Singh Jha' has passed away at the age of 77.
आकाशवाणी दरभंगा के प्रसिद्ध पूर्व रेडियो प्रस्‍तुतकर्ता और संगीतकार ‘इंद्रानंद सिंह झा’ का 77 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया है।

➼ Australia defeated India by 9 runs in the Group A match of the Women's T20 Cricket World Cup and confirmed its place in the semi-finals.
महिला T-20 क्रिकेट विश्व कप में ग्रुप-ए के मुकाबले में ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने ‘भारत’ को 9 रन से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्‍की की है।

➼ India defeated Bangladesh by 133 runs in the third T-20 match and won the series 3-0.
भारत ने तीसरे T-20 मैच में ‘बांग्‍लादेश’ को 133 रन से हराकर श्रृंखला 3-0 से जीती ली है।

➼ The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the three-Test series between India and New Zealand starting from October 16.
