➼ The country's former Defense Minister and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Shigeru Ishiba , has become the new Prime Minister of Japan. He will take charge from next week.
देश के पूर्व रक्षा मंत्री और लिबरल डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी के नेता ‘शिगेरु इशिबा’ (Shigeru Ishiba) जापान के नए प्रधानमंत्री बने हैं। वे अगले हफ्ते से कार्यभार संभालेंगे।

➼ 'Indian Railways' will run more than 6000 special trains between October 1 and November 30 for the upcoming festivals of Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja.
‘भारतीय रेलवे’ आगामी त्योहारों के अवसर पर दुर्गा पूजा, दिवाली और छठ पूजा के लिए 1 अक्टूबर से 30 नवंबर के बीच 6000 से अधिक विशेष ट्रेनें चलाएगा।

➼ Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the application date for  ' Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025' till 7th October.
नवोदय विद्यालय समिति ने ‘जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय चयन परीक्षा 2025’ के लिए आवेदन की तिथि 7 अक्टूबर तक बढ़ा दी है।

➼ Oscar winning actress ' Dame Maggie Smith' has died at the age of 89. She played the role of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the 'Harry Potter ' film. She has been awarded the Oscar Award for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
ऑस्कर विजेता अभिनेत्री ‘डेम मैगी स्मिथ’ का 89 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया है। ‘हैरी पॉटर’ फिल्म में उन्होंने प्रोफेसर Minerva McGonagall का किरदार निभाया था। उन्हें The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie के लिए ऑस्कर अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है।

➼ President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the  ' Indian Arts Festival 2024' at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad, Hyderabad on September 28 .

➼ Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Virendra Kumar will inaugurate the  '20th Divya Kala Mela' in Pune on September 28.

➼ India and Uzbekistan signed  a ' Bilateral Investment Treaty' on 27 September in Tashkent.

➼ Bangladesh cricket team's all-rounder ' Shakib Al Hasan' has announced his retirement from cricket.

➼ The Ministry of Tourism has launched  ' Incredible India Content Hub' and ' Digital Portal' on the occasion of 'World Tourism Day ' on 27 September 2024.
