➼ The World Health Organization has declared  ' Jordan' as the first country in the world to be free from leprosy.

➼ The Indian Coast Guard has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for marine conservation with The Habitats Trust and HCL Foundation on September 19 in New Delhi.
