Last chance to drum up some support for tomorrow. We aren't expecting huge crowds for such an unpopular topic but the reality is an awful lot of people are suffering and the vast majority of them are doing so in silence because the political and medical system won't even acknowledge them.

A Limerick college student has waived her right anonymity in order to name the Nigerian man who was found guilty of raping her at the Cratloe Student Village in April 2018.

Utseoritselaju Uwatse (25), who moved to Ireland as a child, was sentenced to four years for the rape at the Central Criminal Court today.

Reading her victim impact statement to the court, she said:

“I don’t think there are any words that would convey the damage that you have done. The woman who is here today is broken down. I felt guilty for the heaviness I brought to my friends and family.”
