There is still a lot of evidence in éiRe, of how our Irish language should be written. Take this old sign from the " Irish department of posts and telegraphs ( now, an post) . Here written on the box, you will see short hand cló gaélach letters, with a symbol in between, which represents ( Agus/and) and was known as Tironian symbol. Below this pic, is how " post and telegraph " Minus the Tironian symbol is written in our beautiful irish text.
