The US military did something very similar with the Laurel canyon hippie 'anti-war' movement, run by intelligence agencies to destroy what was a massive and effective anti-war movement pre-vietnam. Destroy all credibility surrounding a movement and watch the everyday concerned people distance themselves from the madness.

Here we have a very large German international news site holding Murphy up as the leader of campaign to keep our neutrality, and the media here are trying to do the same. One to watch in the coming weeks as they try to strip us of our neutrality as they have stripped us of everything else.
