These GDF's Geological Disposal Facilities are earmarked for Radio Active Waste disposal. The Scottish,Welsh and English Parliaments rejected the notion of having them in their jurisdictions. So it was decided to use Ulster as the dumping ground for Sellafields Nuclear Waste. There are mining projects currently in operation in the Sperrin mountains, carried out by 2 Canadian companies, Dalradian and Galantis. They need to use 'cyanide' as part of the mining process. A highly toxic and lethal substance. If it enters the water system in the area it could poison local rivers, lakes and the drinking water for these localities. Let that sink in. Then after the mineshafts have been raped of gold, the empty mineshafts will be filled with Radio Active Waste. I consider this part of èiRe as my second home, i lived and worked up here for over 15 years, I love the people and the countryside. It is steeped in history, there are stone circles in Beaghmore (Sperrin mountains) older than Stonehenge,Tullyhogue was where the King's of the O'Neills were crowned, the county flag has the famous red hand. Last night I was shown something I want to share.
