The treaty was signed in Downing Street 6th December 1921..... it was brought back to the people and Dail eireann it was discussed... then it took 10 months to ratify and it only came into full force of law on 6th December 1922+ 99 years 364 days 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds = midnight 5th December 2022
