So why has Center Parcs UK and Ireland gone cashless?
Center Parcs Ireland state on their website that:
"All our villages are cashless and can no longer accept cash payments"
Center Parcs is a short-break family holiday company that operates six holiday villages in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Did Center Parks even notice the irony of the advertisement for their "Just Kids" shop that is still up on their website as the "..perfect place to spend their pocket money with all the latest toys and games..."?
Perhaps people should contact Center Parcs in Longford and notify them that they should change this advertisement as it is misleading. Because kids cannot spend their pocket money at Just Kids. Kids cannot queue up with euros clutched in their hands given by grandparents for their holiday to buy a treat or a toy. Their money will be refused.
Kids cannot be Just Kids at Center Parcs. Instead they will need to swipe, tap or use a mobile phone to buy the latest toys or games.
We refer to our submission to businesses that people can adapt send to Center Parcs to push back against their cashless policy. By refusing cash Center Parcs are enabling the drive for a cashless society and this is why it is fundamental that we fight back against this attack on our fundamental rights. If we do not challenge and boycott such businesses we risk sleepwalking into a cashless society. Once cash is gone It's gone.

UN Food Chief Warns Millions “Knocking on Famine’s Door”
Around 50 million people are now on the brink of famine, while even greater numbers face food insecurity, according to UN food chief David Beasley. (Associated Press)
“Fifty million people in 45 countries are knocking on famine’s door. If we don’t reach these people, you will have famine, starvation, destabilization of nations unlike anything we saw in 2007-2008 and 2011, and you will have mass migration.”
The reason for the food crisis is the fact that grain shipments from both Ukraine and Russia, which typically export enough goods to feed hundreds of millions of people, have fallen sharply. Economic sanctions on Russia have exacerbated the issue, as fertilizer exports from Russia, the world’s second-largest producer behind China, have declined significantly.
