Here is an old sign, on an external wall of the GPO in Dublin, with the buildings name written in cló gaelaċ and an older spelling, before the " irish orthography reform in 1960. What was so important , that they had to change how our people had spelt words for generations.?

That is the thing about text, you can learn a lot from it. My question would be, why change it to roman text and who gave them that right too, as far as i can see, there was no referendum for that change and they changed it during a referendum when they said " we want to clean it up".? Instead they, added more words and then removed our true irish..What were they trying to hide.?
