I look at things like this, and wonder how much our people are actually owed for all the bull shit put on us over hundreds of years, they stole our language, they stole our text, they stole our resources ( and are still stealing) they came in and pay hardly any taxes and pay pittence in their jobs, so they can bring in their own work force from out of éıRe. In return, our people on their own land, cant get a house never mind pay the extortionate price for one, because of the now supply and demand created by them, their data centres suck up our stored water reservares and make them dry, our electricity is gone up, because these people are using more to heat their homes, as they are used to a hotter climate than us, so we pay more for it now. we pay fortunes now for " our food" too, because of sanctions put on us by a foreign entity and our farmers struggle to farm and produce, while these new to society set up their own shops ( practically tax free) import their own produce that is farmed ( mostly without restrictions)in their own countries. Poland for one, still use their own money and did not opt in to the euro, though they are actually " IN" poxy europe and we as an island are not.. then these businesses, sell to their people living here , them products, produced in their own countries ( once more, propping up their own econemy), and while their people use money made in " our econemy " to shop there, in return the money is sent out to their " offshore" head offices, which means, it does not go back into our econemy but is shipped out to theirs. we have to wait weeks to see our local doctor too, becauae there are too many to be seen, we are being shafted here.. so id like to know, as heirs of this beautiful land.. who owes us, as it is time we claim it.. enough now. In norway they live like kings on " our poxy oil" pumped from our land..while we are shafted buying it back from them.. where is the logic.. where is the sence.. well i can now see the sence of humour, because " they are taking the piss".

Coalition of civil society groups says Paris should return harsh reparations imposed on Caribbean state two hundred years ago

France should repay billions of dollars to Haiti to cover a debt formerly enslaved people were forced to pay in return for recognising the island’s independence, according to a coalition of civil society groups that is launching a new push for reparations.

They say the money should go to public works in Haiti where a transition council was installed this month in an effort to restore security after a period of devastating violence by armed groups.

“What’s important is that it’s time that France recognises this and we move forward,” Monique Clesca, a Haitian civil society activist who is coordinating the efforts, told Reuters.
