🇮🇪 Alan Shatter was the Irish Justice Minister from 2011-14, a post which he used to grant citizenship to tens of thousands of foreign nationals and further open Ireland's borders.
Shatter, who the Jewish Chronicle described as "Our man in the dail" and "Ireland's only Jewish member of parliament ", is an ardent Zionist, and made his first official visit as defence minister to Israel.
Since the stabbing spree in Dublin 10 days ago, he has tweeted 40 times. All 40 of his posts were about Israel or Jewish issues.
He made one brief mention of "dreadful events" in Dublin, but only to make a point about condemning anti-Israel protests.
How can a former justice minister care so little about the breakdown in safety on Irish streets - a crisis which he greatly contributed to?
