This makes the country an interesting and vibrant place. At the same time, I can assume that in Zetland people are often busy and do not have time or energy to interact with those around them.

UPD: перезалила нужное фото из финальной версии.
Недавно закончила курс подготовки экспертов от ФИПИ. Так вот, одному мальчику сняли баллы за то, что среди местных достопримечательностей он неверно назвал памятник «Медный всадник» - Copper Horseman, продемонстрировав знание слова «медь», но не зная о том, что в английском это The Bronze Horseman.
Убедимся, что знаем, как верно называются некоторые достопримечательности двух столиц.

Заключение.
Настоящий джигит должен в заключении сделать четыре вещи (легко запомнить):
1) Написать подводку (In conclusion/To conclude и т.д.)
2) Дать читателю понять, что дальше будет именно его мнение, а не чье-то там еще: I think/I believe
3) выразить свое мнение по конкретному заданию как в плане (а не как подсказали голоса в голове)
4) объяснить, почему он так думает (as/since/because)
Можно одно сложное предложение. Можно два простых. Нельзя одно простое.
Лекция закончена, закрываем тетрадки, делаем двойные листочки!
Вот задание (только пункт 5, других здесь нет)

Hi Vova I have found 2 pictures for our project "Interacting with friends in the 21st century". Let me tell you about them.

Let me start with describing them.
In one/the fist picture I can see a girl (кто). She is at home (где) . She is sitting in front of her computer (что делает). She is having a video call with another girl, probably her friend (деталь)
In the other/second photo there are two girls (кто) They are outside, probably in the park (где) They look like they are having a good time together, they are laughing (что). I can also see a picnic basket in the background (деталь).
These photos are suitable for our project as they depict (из пункта 2 плана) two different ways of interacting with friends: online like in the 1st photo and face-to-face, like in the 2nd one
Let me tell you about (из пункта 2 плана) some advantages and disadvantages of the two ways of interacting with friends.
Chatting online helps to stay in touch with those who live far away, but sometimes there can be technical problems, which is very annoying. As for spending time face-to-face, it strengthens the bonds but on the flip side, it can be hard to find time to meet.
Personally, I (как в последнем пункте плана) prefer interacting with friends face-to-face (объяснить почему) as it gives me a chance to see their body language which is important for communication.

Публикую еще одну выдержку из моей новой книги
Многие преподаватели, приходя на консультацию, спрашивают меня, как проверять эссе по критериям ФИПИ.
Если вы не собираетесь стать экспертом, то ваша задача не проверить, а научить, как писать на максимум, обойдя все ловушки и подводные камни.
При проверке работы ученика просто снимайте один балл за каждую ошибку. Пишите количество ошибок на полях и отслеживайте динамику. Подчеркивайте зеленым все части текста, где нет ошибок. Ведите чек лист с самыми частотными ошибками этого ученика.
Ученик все равно не понимает, как это должно оцениваться. Получая 5 баллов из 14 от вас, он будет счастлив, получив 12 из 14 на экзамене.

Let me start with describing them.
In one/the fist picture I can see three women (кто). They are outside(где) . One of them is holding a plate with pancakes (что держит, всегда хорошо работает здесь). They are wearing traditional Russian coats and scarves (деталь)
In the other/second photo there are some teens (кто) They are in a classroom (где). They are dressed up as witches and pirates(деталь). I can also see a girl who is painting her friends’ faces(деталь).
These photos are suitable for our project as they depict (из пункта 2 плана) two different types of celebrations: a Russian national celebration like Maslenitsa in the 1st photo and a western-style celebration like Halloween in the 2nd one
Let me tell you about (из пункта 2 плана) some advantages and disadvantages of the two types of celebrations.
Celebrating national holidays like Maslenitsa can help promote patriotism and learn more about the culture of your country, but sometimes people eat too much unhealthy food and it can be bad for their stomachs. As for western festivals and celebrations such as Halloween, they can be fun and you can dress up as your favorite character but on the flip side, it can hurt religious people’s feelings.
Personally, I (как в последнем пункте плана) would like to attend a Halloween celebration (объяснить почему) because I love dressing up. Also, it can help me to learn more about the culture of English-speaking countries.

I am currently working on a project on what gifts Zetland teenagers would like to receive for their birthdays, and I have found a pie chart with the results of a relevant survey. I am going to analyse the statistics and express my opinion.
To begin with, I would like to say that 24% of the respondents choose “A smartphone” as a response to the survey question “What would you like to receive as a birthday present?”. It is also clearly seen that the options “Headphones” and “A camera” make up 23% and 20% of the total respectively.
According to the pie chart, the figure for the response “A laptop” (25%) is higher than that for “A gift certificate” (8%). This is not surprising because a gift certificate will expire if one does not use it. At the same time, a laptop is a useful tool for studies.
It is worth mentioning that one of the typical problems that can arise with birthday presents is that people have no ideas what gifts to buy. A solution is to ask a birthday boy/girl about their preferences.
In conclusion, I truly believe that asking my friends about things which they desire to get is the best way to choose birthday presents for them because this way I can be sure that my friends will love these gifts.
