Hi Vicky! I have found 2 pictures for our project “Volunteering in Russia” but I can’t send them now so let me tell you about them.

Let me start with describing them. In one picture I can see a clown in a hospital ward. He is juggling. He's wearing a wig. There are some kids and nurses in the ward who are watching the show. They look amazed.
In the other photo I can see a girl, she is outside. She is holding a saucepan and she’s feeding some puppies. In the background there’s a building which looks like a dog shelter.

The main difference between the photos is that they depict 2 different ways of volunteering: volunteering which involves working with sick kids, like in one photo, and volunteering which involves helping animals like in the other photo.
That’s why I think these photos are great for our project.

Now let me tell you about some advantages and disadvantages of the two ways of volunteering. Entertaining sick children is really rewarding but on the negative side, it is very emotionally demanding. As for helping animals, on the positive side, you can save their lives, however, such animals are often aggressive and can attack volunteers.

Personally, I would prefer to volunteer with kids because I think that it’s important to help them forget about their illness for some time, and make their lives at hospital a little happier.

1) вопросы должны быть содержательными (какого цвета обложка книги, сколько страниц в книге - не принимается);

2) друг должен быть способен ответить на этот вопрос (сколько еще писем ты отправишь Санте? - он не может знать ответ на этот вопрос);

3) порядок вопросов важен. Если мы задаем вопрос про необычный подарок, то сначала спросим «Что это за подарок?», а только потом все остальное.

На мой взгляд, лучший способ справиться с вопросами - сначала прописать ответы, а затем преобразовать их в вопросы.

I am working on the project “name” and I have found a table with the results of a survey. I am going to comment on the data and express my opinion on how to find a good job.

To begin with, I would like to say that the most common response to the survey question “???” is “Searching the internet for vacancies”(32%). It is also clearly seen that the options “Visiting a job fair” and “Speaking to a career advisor” constitute 19% and 15% of the total respectively.

According to the data, the figure for the response “Doing an internship” (26%)is higher than that for “ Making a work-site visit” (8%). This is unsurprising as doing an internship helps to get some useful practical experience, while a visit to a work-site can be short and not very informative.

It is worth mentioning that one of the problems that can arise while choosing a career is that there are too many options and people often find it hard to decide which career will suit them best. A solution is to speak to a career advisor who can offer an aptitude test and help to choose some suitable options.

In conclusion, I think that to find a good job one should go to a career consultant and ask them to help write a good CV because a well-written resume can make a good impression on a potential employer.

PROBLEMS WHILE CHOSING A CAREER:

Problem 1: Many young people do not know what they are passionate about. This can make it hard to choose a career.
Solution: To explore different fields through internships, volunteer work, or part-time jobs. This helps in discovering interests.

Problem 2: Sometimes, one's family may have expectations about what career one should pursue. This can cause stress and confusion.
Solution: Communicate openly with family about your interests and goals. Make it clear that your career choice is important for your happiness.

Problem 3: Choosing a career can lead to a fear of making a bad decision that could waste time and money.
Solution: Use career tests or discuss options with a career counselor to make a more informed choice.
