๐ฃOrigin :
The origin of the phrase is unclear. There are theories which say that the wrong foot refers to the left foot, since there is an age old bias for the right side. Since we have "right and left" and "right and wrong", left tends to get associated with wrong. Another theory suggests that the phrase comes from the military, where in a march, all have to start with the same foot, which is usually the left foot. So in this case the right foot is the wrong foot. The phrase has been in use since the 16th century.

THE MOONโS MYSTERIES
=====================
The first step on the moon by astronaut Neil Armstrong was said to be โone small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.โ But for many of the twelve men whoโve been there, that โone small stepโ completely changed the way they saw the world. Some returned feeling as if theyโd experienced enlightenment. Others spent the years following their lunar exploration depressed and hiding from the press. Some say that those quiet astronauts saw things the others hadnโt โ secret things that they were asked to cover up.
After stepping on the moon, Buzz Aldrinโs life fell apart. He went into a deep depression. His marriage of 21 years ended. He remarried and was divorced again within two years. He became an alcoholic. Within a few years, the former astronaut found himself selling used cars to make a living. When approached by the press, he seemed agitated and reluctant to share details of his mission.
Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, is also said to have been reclusive and possibly withdrawn. He also frustrated interviewers with his refusals and extremely private nature.
Many people have wondered why they would struggle after such an achievement. Some believe it was because the entire moon landing was a hoax. Some think they saw proof of alien life but it was kept quiet. Buzz did say in one interview that he observed a light moving alongside the ship. Others think that Buzz was just jealous at being the second man on the moon and Neil had always been quiet. We may never know because NASA erased the original moon landing footage.
Whatever caused their depression, the truth is that there are many oddities about the moon. It has been a source of fascination since the dawn of humanity. Many ancient peoples worshipped it as a god or told legends about it. The Zulu tribe of Africa, for example, tells of two alien brothers who towed the moon into place and gave us the rhythms of the Earth.
Even today, its mysteries tantalize our minds. For example, the moon is 400 times smaller than the sun and 400 times closer to the Earth. Because of this mysterious coincidence, when the moon passes in front of the sun during an eclipse, the moon completely blocks the much bigger sun.
Yet scientists say that if the moon were not as it is, life may not have evolved past the sea. The moon affects the tides, and the tides made it possible for some sea creatures to reach land, where they eventually evolved into land animals.
Robotic landers sent by billionaires looking to mine the moon for gold and other resources are slated to begin as early as 2020. Perhaps some of its secrets will be revealed then.

Prepare a speech in about 100 words to appeal to donate generously towards flood affected people in Gujarat.
Ans. My dear gentlemen and ladies,
Every year people throughout India get affected by natural calamities like earthquake, drought or flood. We read about it and also see it in newspapers and on television. This year Gujarat is worse hit by flood. We saw it devastating pictures on TV. These pictures were really heart-breaking and disturbing. Flood has affected most parts of Banaskantha district and Northen part of Gujarat.
All low-lying areas were inundated. Most of the rivers were in spate. Flood has taken more than hundred lives. Crops, houses and roads are damaged a great deal. Thousand of people became homeless. The havoc caused to thousand of people is unbelievable. The sufferings of people have struck a deep chord into our hearts.
Friends, who are they? Are they not your brothers and sisters? Do you want them to starve? Who will donate for them? Don't you want to come forward and help them? as happy as a clam
โโโโโโโโ
๐ฃMeaning:
๐ธTo be very happy.
๐ธSomeone who is content and which shows on him.
๐ดExamples:
๐นAlthough the job does not pay very well, she is as happy as a clam there.
๐นThe students were as happy as clams when they heard that the teacher is not going to be coming in that day.
๐นHe always does his work on time, no wonder his boss is as happy as a clam.
๐ Origin:
Open clams often give a picture of a smile. Hence the origin is speculated to be from an open clam rather than a closed one. The phrase, however, had an addition to it which has been trimmed over the years. The full text read, โas happy as a clam at high waterโ. It originated in the United States, speculated around the beginning of the 19th century. It has been used exactly as it is seen today in 1833โs โThe Harpeโs Head โ A Legend of Kentuckyโ. In 1848, John Russell Bartlett used it in his โDictionary Of Americanisms โ A Glossary of Words And Phrases Usually Regarded As Peculiar To The United Statesโ. The phrase has been popular ever since and especially used more by the people at the coast of New England.

๐นYouโre blessed with the ability to gab but are also known to put your foot in it.
๐Origin
This informal phrase dates back to at least the early 1700s, and there is mixed history for it.
One origin alludes to stepping in something unpleasant. In โPolite Conversation,โ Jonathan Swift wrote, โThe bishop has put his foot in it.โ In 1823 the phrase was defined in a book of slang.
Other sources say that it derived from a variation of โfoot and mouth diseaseโ โ a dreadful medical condition affecting livestock with hooves. Although it is possible for cows and sheep to recover, farmers usually destroy infected animals in order to stop the spread amongst the rest of the flock or herd.
So, โfoot in mouth diseaseโ would imply that someone has said/done something as awful or problematic as this disease.
