Traffic Update:

We would like to inform you about ongoing roadwork affecting the entrance road to Dagan and the Tamar traffic circle leading to the Zayit pumping station.

Following the completion of the bike path construction today (Monday), work will now continue on laying asphalt between the Zayit and Tamar and completing the road between the Tamar traffic circle and the entrance to Dagan.

There will be alternating closures with traffic controllers stationed along the section between the Zayit pumping station and the Tamar traffic circle, as well as periodically between the Tamar traffic circle and the entrance to Dagan.

On *Tuesday and Wednesday*, January 28-29, 2025, the closure will occur between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM. On *Thursday*, January 30, 2025, the road closure will take place between 8:30 AM and 9:00 PM. On *Friday*, January 31, 2025, road closures will occur between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

We understand the inconvenience caused by these disruptions but are making the most of dry weather conditions to expedite the work. Please continue to drive slowly and cautiously.

Good evening, traffic update for tomorrow (Wednesday) on the Dagan to the Tamar traffic circle to the pumping station in the Zayit:
Following a sewage problem that was discovered today and disrupted the proper progress of the work, and in order to finish the paving before Shabbat -there will be intermittent lane closures with traffic controllers tomorrow (Wednesday, January 29th 2025) until 10:00 PM.

Traffic update for the Hachnasat Sefer Torah in the Dagan neighborhood, today (Thursday) January 29, 2025:
Between 6:15 PM and 7:00 PM, a procession will be held from Reishit Degancha (9 HaOmer) to the "Tichon Tefilati" shul on HaZorim Street. With the approval of the police and in coordination with the council's security department, the road will be closed and will open according to the pace of the procession.

The northbound lane on the Tamar to Zayit road was prepared for asphalt paving, and additionally minor changes were made to the southern part of that road. The road will be opened to traffic in the next hour. Please drive slowly and carefully.
As a reminder, tomorrow (Thursday January 30th) an intermittent lane closure will begin at 8:30 AM until the evening.

Construction work on the Tunnel Road:
Construction work on Tunnel Road will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM:
• On February 2, 2025, northbound traffic will be closed – from the Tunnel checkpoint to the Rosemary Interchange.
• On February 12, 2025, southbound traffic will be closed – from the Rosemary Interchange to the Tunnel checkpoint.
Traffic will be diverted to alternative routes, including Walajah Road, Ein Kerem Road, and Tekoa Road.
Traffic in the opposite direction will remain open as usual.
