> The federal government of Germany has advised the states to extend the ban on large events until August 31st. This has not been put into law by the state of Berlin yet. We are in close contact with all our business partners and will make an announcement as soon as we have confirmation on the situation.

> Friends, it is with deep regret that we must announce the cancellation of Eurofurence for 2020. We did not come to this decision lightly: the safety of our attendees, staff, hotel personnel and many others is paramount. Our full statement can be found here: https://forum.eurofurence.org/index.php/topic,8940.0.html

> Hey folks! A lot of you wanted to help us get through these times - thank you so so so much for that! We've set up a Gofundme for this - so if you want to help, please see https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-eurofurence

> There was a little bit of confusion regarding the GoFundMe campaign for EF. We have updated the information and hope this is a little more precise now. Have a great Sunday!

> We regret to announce that one of the leading organisers of EF 2, Snout, has passed away in his sleep this Monday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. EF would not be what it is if it wasn't for you.

Farewell, Snout.

> We at Eurofurence know things are difficult for everyone now and have our attendees at the heart of everything we do. Your safety is our first priority and currently with the pandemic ongoing we feel we cannot reasonably run a physical event this year.

What does this mean? We will be delaying EF26 until 2022 (exact dates will be announced later). So this means you have extra time to work on those costumes, polish up the dance moves and we look forward to welcoming you in a safe setting.
