🤔 For most of the last decade, the question in onchain finance was whether assets could live here at all.

✅ That question is settled. Treasuries, credit, funds and deposits are being issued onchain today, and the institutions issuing them are no longer running experiments.

🏦 What changed is what they now expect. An institution bringing a real asset onchain does not care that a transaction settles in two seconds. It cares whether counterparties can see positions they have no right to see, whether access can be restricted to permitted participants, whether the controls its regulator asks about actually exist, and whether any of this connects to the systems it already runs.

🎩 Most blockchains were not designed to answer those questions. Canton was.
