കാലിക്കറ്റിൽ നാല് പി.ജി. പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ* *ഓൺലൈനായി ഉടൻ തുടങ്ങും* കാലിക്കറ്റ് സർവകലാശാലയിൽ 2026 ഫെബ്രുവരി മുതൽ ഓൺലൈനായി എം.എ. സോഷ്യോളജി, ഹിസ്റ്ററി, പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ സയൻസ്, ഇക്കണോമിക്സ് എന്നീ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ ആരംഭിക്കാൻ യു.ജി.സി. അനുമതി നൽകി. മാർച്ച് 31-ന് മുൻപ് പ്രവേശന നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ച് വിവരങ്ങൾ കൈമാറാനാണ് യു.ജി.സി. അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. പ്രവേശന നടപടികൾ ഉടൻ തുടങ്ങുമെന്ന് വൈസ് ചാൻസിലർ ഡോ. പി. രവീന്ദ്രൻ അറിയിച്ചു. വിദേശത്തുള്ളവർക്കും ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്കും പഠിക്കാവുന്ന രീതിയിലായിരിക്കും പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ ആരംഭിക്കുക. യു.ജി.സി. നിബന്ധനകൾക്ക് വിധേയമായി റഗുലർ പ്രോഗ്രാമിന് തുല്യമാവും ഇത്. വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് സൗകര്യമനുസരിച്ച് പഠനം ക്രമീകരിക്കാം. പ്രായപരിധിയില്ല. ഇന്റേണൽ എക്സ്റ്റേണൽ പരീക്ഷകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ നടപടികളും ഓൺലൈനായിരിക്കും. ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തിലും വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നേരിട്ട് എത്തേണ്ടതില്ല. അധ്യാപകരുടെ ഓൺലൈൻ സേവനങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാകും. ഓരോ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളും രണ്ട് സ്കീമുകളായി തരം തിരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പഠനം മുഴുവൻ ഓൺലൈനായും പരീക്ഷ മാത്രം സർവകലാശാലക്ക് കീഴിലുള്ള ലേണിങ് സപ്പോർട്ട് സെന്ററിലോ അഫിലിയേറ്റഡ് കോളേജുകളിലോ വന്ന് എഴുതാവുന്നതാണ് ആദ്യ സ്‌കീം. പഠനവും പരീക്ഷയും മുഴുവനായി ഓൺലൈനിൽ നടത്തുന്നതാണ് രണ്ടാമത്തെ സ്‌കീം. വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള സ്‌കീമിൽ പഠിക്കാം.
