കാലിക്കറ്റ് സർവകലാശാലയിൽ അക്കാഡമിക് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ക്രെഡിറ്റ് ഐഡികൾ സൃഷിടിക്കുന്നതിനും അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും മുൻകൂറായി അമിത ഫീസ് ഈടാക്കുന്നതായി വന്ന വാർത്ത അടിസ്ഥാന രഹിതമാണെന്ന് പരീക്ഷാ കൺട്രോളർ വാർത്താ കുറിപ്പിൽ അറിയിച്ചു. വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് എ.ബി.സി. / ഡിജിലോക്കർ പോർട്ടൽ വഴി അവരുടെ എ.ബി.സി. - ഐ.ഡി. ഉണ്ടാക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. വിദ്യാർഥികൾ അവരവരുടെ എ.ബി.സി. - ഐ.ഡി. സർവകലാശാലയുടെ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടലിൽ അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യണം. ഇതിന് സർവകലാശാല ഫീസ് ഈടാക്കുന്നില്ല. സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടലിൽ സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളവർക്ക് അവരുടെ രജിസ്റ്റർ നമ്പർ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ലോഗിൻ ചെയ്തു ഐ.ഡി. അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്. ലോഗിൻ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിന് സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്യാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറിലേക്കും ഇ - മെയിൽ ഐ.ഡി.യിലേക്കും അയക്കുന്ന ഒ.ടി.പി. നൽകി വെരിഫൈ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. പോർട്ടലിൽ സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്യാത്തവർക്ക് സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് മുൻപായി ഫോൺ നമ്പറോ മെയിൽ ഐ.ഡി.യോ മാറ്റണമെന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതത് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽമാർക്ക് കോളേജ് പോർട്ടൽ മുഖേന മാറ്റുന്നതിന് നിലവിൽ സൗകര്യമുണ്ട്. ഈ സൗകര്യം എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് വസ്തുതാപരമല്ല. തങ്ങൾ തുടർന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഫോൺ നമ്പറും ഇ - മെയിൽ ഐ.ഡി.യും ഉപയോഗിച്ചുതന്നെ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടലിൽ സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് പിന്നീട് ലോഗിൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് പ്രയാസമുണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടലിൽ ഫോൺ നമ്പർ, ഇ - മെയിൽ എന്നിവ നൽകി സൈൻ അപ്പ് ചെയ്തവർക്ക് പിന്നീട് മേല്പറഞ്ഞ വിവരങ്ങൾ മാറ്റുന്നതിന് സർവകലാശാലയെ സമീപിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. യഥാർഥ വിദ്യാർഥി തന്നെയാണ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടൽ അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനും വിവരസുരക്ഷിതത്വത്തിനുമാണ് മൊബൈൽ നമ്പർ, ഇ-മെയിൽ ഇവ മുഖേനയുള്ള വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് പോർട്ടലിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. എ.ബി.സി. - ഐ.ഡി. നിർമിക്കേണ്ടതും അത് സർവകലാശാല പോർട്ടലിൽ അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതും വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രെഡിറ്റ് വിവരങ്ങൾ തുടർ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനും ജോലിക്കും മറ്റും ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഡിജിലോക്കർ മുഖേന എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിന് അനിവാര്യമാണ്. ഇത്തരത്തിൽ വിദ്യാർഥികളെ സഹായിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ഈ സംവിധാനം നടപ്പിൽ വരുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളതെന്നും പരീക്ഷാ കൺട്രോളർ അറിയിച്ചു.
