CA, CS, CMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or any other professional course in the world—one thing is common: a significant number of students drop out of these courses.
Why?
Various factors come into play, but the most crucial one—the lack of which often forces students to drop out—is their overall personality and attitude towards learning and growth.
Let’s make one thing clear: quitting a professional course does not make you a loser in life. If you’re quitting for the right reasons, it’s absolutely okay.
So, what are the right reasons?
I’ve discussed this in a previous post, but to give you an idea—if your aptitude doesn’t align with the course you’ve chosen or with the career you wish to pursue, it’s perfectly reasonable to change your path. (Yes, there’s a difference between a course and a career.)
However, if you’re quitting simply because the course demands a lot of effort—more accurately, a lot of consistent effort—then it’s time to reconsider your approach. Everything worthwhile in life demands consistency.
No matter which field you choose, if you want to live a satisfying professional and personal life, you’ll need to put in consistent effort.
Sometimes, the flood of success stories on social media makes us fixate only on the results, ignoring the consistent grind behind them. In doing so, we become wishful thinkers.
I know that consistent efforts can feel monotonous at times. But here’s the truth—every super achiever you admire has mastered the art of doing the mundane things for a long time.
They either find ways to make those tasks enjoyable, or they simply accept them for what they are and keep going regardless.
So don’t let the mundane scare you off. Embrace it. It’s a part of the journey that leads to success.
All the best.

Yesterday, a CA student told me:
"Sir, mujhe lagta hai main padhta kam hoon… phone zyada utha leta hoon."
And that hit hard.
Because this is the story of almost every student today.
Not because you’re weak…
Not because you’re lazy…
But because your brain is tired of switching between study → entertainment → study → entertainment.
The invisible virus is not lack of focus.
It’s the constant pull of screens.
But here’s the hopeful part:
The moment you choose your screen time,
you regain your momentum.
Try this:
✔ Fix a daily entertainment window
✔ Bring back boredom, walks, books
✔ Press play on audio and keep the phone aside
✔ Value your mind’s silence as much as its stimulation
CA students, you’re capable of far more than you think.
Sometimes, all you need is a distraction detox.
If this resonated, share it with someone preparing for exams.
Your one share may save someone’s attempt. ❤️

One thing you must remember: you cannot change your past.
Whatever has happened has already happened. Thinking about it again and again will only disturb your present and your future.
There are a few things in life you simply can’t change —
➡️ The past
➡️ Other people
But there is one thing you can change: yourself.
Your time, your habits, your focus — all are in your control.
Today, sit down for a few minutes.
Switch off everything.
Take a pen and paper.
And talk to yourself on paper.
Write down:
✔️ What is in my control?
✔️ What do I want from myself?
✔️ Which areas are weak?
✔️ What do I need to change starting today?
Also remember: taking full syllabus mock tests is the fastest way to know where you actually stand. Don’t be scared of them — they show you the truth and help you improve.
At the end, always keep this in mind:
Worrying changes nothing. Working changes everything.
Stay focused.
You still have time.
Your future is in your hands. 💛

A short reminder for all CA students preparing for exams:
Procrastination feels comforting… but it’s actually self-deception.
Every time you say, “I’ll do it tomorrow,” your brain gives you temporary relief —
but your real problem stays exactly the same.
The truth is simple:
Only action gives real relief.
Only studying today removes tomorrow’s stress.
Yes, discipline is uncomfortable.
Yes, your mind will look for excuses — scrolling, distractions, “5 minutes break”…
But these small escapes cost you big in the long run.
You will always face two kinds of pain:
The pain of discipline (short-term, manageable)
The pain of regret (long-term, heavy)
And as a CA student, you get to choose which one you want.
When you study today — revise, practice questions, attempt mock tests — the relief you feel in the exam hall is real.
Because you prepared.
Because you showed up for yourself.
But the regret of not studying stays with you for months.
So for the remaining days, keep distractions aside.
Choose discomfort over delay.
Choose discipline over regret.
Choose your future over temporary comfort.
Your time is your choice.
Don’t deceive yourself.
Use it wisely.
All the best to everyone preparing.

Your exams are 40–50 days away.
But most students are still busy experimenting with new routines, new wake-up times, new “study hacks”.
This confusion is killing your preparation.
Your brain needs consistency, not constant changes.

“Discipline feels lonely… until your CA results arrive.”
These last 40–50 days decide everything.
While others are partying, scrolling, or relaxing…
you’re studying alone — and that’s your advantage.
Most students lose the battle here.
Not because they didn’t work hard,
but because loneliness felt heavier than discipline.
*But remember:
Your effort → Your result.
Your discipline → Your name on the pass list.*
Stay focused.
Stay consistent.
Pay the EMI of success now—
the reward will pay you back for life.

Most CA students don’t fail because they don’t study.
They fail because they never practice the one thing the exam actually checks: Answer writing.
You can watch every lecture, revise every chapter, highlight every page…
but the examiner doesn’t see your hard work.
They only see your craft — the quality of what you write in 3 hours.
And here’s the bitter truth:
Your craft improves only when you sit down and write, make mistakes, get feedback, and improve again.
I’ve seen hundreds of students who knew concepts perfectly…
but couldn’t score because their answers were messy, unstructured, unpracticed.
If you’re preparing for CA exams, remember this:
Reading builds knowledge.
Writing builds marks.
Practice your craft every day.
Even 30 minutes can change your performance more than 3 hours of revision.
Your concepts won’t give you confidence.
Your writing will.

Most CA students chase perfect study days.
But the real game isn’t perfection — it’s recovery.
Your Monday goes bad.
But then guilt ruins Tuesday…
Overthinking kills Wednesday…
And by Thursday, motivation is gone.
One bad day quietly becomes four.
Top performers do one thing differently:
👉 They reset immediately.
No emotional hangover. No drama. They simply start again.
Find your personal trigger — a walk, a shower, music, 15 minutes of reading… whatever switches your mind back on.
Use it. Restart.
Your bounce-back speed will decide your results more than your motivation.
And yes, cover Ch-1,2,3,11 of CA Inter Audit in just 3 days with me.

“Sir, I can’t concentrate for more than 15–20 minutes. What should I do?”
I get this from CA students almost every day.
Here’s the simplest fix I share:
2-minute focus technique:
• Sit somewhere quiet
• Set a 2-minute timer
• Breathe in = 1
• Breathe out = 2
• Mind wanders? Bring it back gently
Do this daily → then increase to 5, 10, even 15 minutes.
You’ll see better focus, calmness, and longer study stamina.
Try it today. It works. 💯
