I am an important molecule used in many biochemical reactions
I am referred to as the "Hub of Metabolism".
In 1963 Konrad Bloch and Feodor Lynen were awarded a Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine for their discoveries linking me and fatty acid metabolism.
