Elon Musk's Neuralink company posts a video of a patient playing chess online using a brain implant.Noland Arbaugh, a 29-year-old paralyzed from the shoulders down, became the first human to receive a Neuralink brain-computer interface implant. In a March 2024 livestream, he demonstrated controlling a computer cursor with his thoughts to play online chess and pause music. The device, implanted via simple surgery, allows for intuitive control by interpreting attempted hand movements as cursor movement. (2nd picture)
