The MTN Ghana Foundation Bright Scholarship is open to brilliant but needy Ghanaian students.

Eligibility Requirements

An applicant must:

1๏ธโƒฃ Be a first-year or continuing student pursuing a first degree at any public tertiary institution in Ghana, or be enrolled in vocational or technical skills training.
2๏ธโƒฃ Be Ghanaian, academically brilliant but financially needy.
3๏ธโƒฃ Be of good conduct, hardworking, and have excellent academic performance.
โ€ข Participation in extra-curricular activities is an added advantage for continuing students.
4๏ธโƒฃ Have no record of academic or disciplinary misconduct and must not be serving any bond.

Gregor Mendel described his experiments with pea plants and proved that genes are transmitted in discrete units, with certain fundamental laws of inheritance.

Gregor Mendel was an Austrian priest who had spent eight years cultivating and crossbreeding more than 28,000 pea plants (Pisum sativum) in the garden of Monastery of St. Thomas in Brno (formerly known as Brรผnn), painstakingly recording details of the plants' progeny.
