😂 FUN FACT: Researcher gets $115K from Facebook for finding a bug that could hack any iPhone near you
A security researcher was paid a $115,000 bug bounty by Meta after discovering a critical vulnerability in how iOS processes HEIF image files. The attack required no user interaction, just being near a malicious image file was enough to trigger remote code execution on an iPhone. Meta patched it silently before paying out.
One of the largest iOS bug bounties ever paid through a third-party report.

💰 BIG MONEY: Bitcoin ETFs rebound with $119M inflow as Ether outflows extend
Bitcoin ETFs saw a $119 million net inflow on Tuesday, marking a reversal despite falling prices. The capital shift suggests investors are rotating back into the flagship asset as market volatility continues.
In contrast, Ether funds faced a losing streak, with outflows reaching $408 million over six consecutive sessions. The divergence highlights a growing split in sentiment between the two largest crypto assets.
Is the capital flight from Ether a permanent structural shift?

🔗 Telegram has applied for the .gram and .telegram top-level domains in ICANN’s new gTLD round.
The applicant in both cases is Telegram FZ-LLC. The most interesting situation is with .gram, where Link Freedom Group Ltd. has also applied for the same extension. Both applications are currently listed as Active.
This means .gram won’t automatically go to Telegram. If both applications pass the required evaluations and remain in contention, ICANN will have to resolve the competition. If it cannot be resolved through the available procedures, it can ultimately lead to an ICANN auction.
As for .telegram, ICANN’s public data currently shows Telegram’s application with no other applicant for the same extension.
There is still a long way to go before these extensions could actually appear. In the new ICANN round, the evaluation procedures are only getting underway, while the Prioritization Draw is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
