Roy Sunak is a Berlin-based Bansuri-player from Israel who has studied in the lineage of Guruji Hariprasad Chaurasia.

With years' experience and dedication in both, jazz and Hindustani music, his music adds a new flavour to the Bansuri play which can be heard in his new album Tear In The River.

Roy’s music evokes the full range of emotions in his audience. With both emotional lightness and depth, Roy gently tells stories with the Bansuri – meaningful and touching stories about connection, friendship and life itself. With his play, he offers his listeners to take them away on a journey of experiencing a deep connection with the Bansuri, one another and everyone’s own life journey.

Meet the KULAM PROJECT ORCHESTRA MUSICIANS:

✨ ANDREA JUNGE is an international multi-instrumentalist and published scientist with a dedication to the arts and academics. Her work involves the integration between motion and sound, alternative education for all ages in health and music, and the execution of community based arts and healing.

The Berlin-based artist is a recipient of several scholarships and grants in music including Aktion Mensch, Kulturelle Bildung, and Global Health Disrupted. Her extensive international experiences with marginalised communities in Tanzania, Nepal, the Amazon, and the Andes have made her an expert in utilising community music as a tool to facilitate communication and inclusion.

Andrea currently works internationally as a freelance musician and is passionate in utilising her skills to primarily collaborate with circus, dance, theatre, and ceremonial ritual.

ADAM H. NEKTARBERG is a multi-instrumentalist, playing bass guitar, percussion, didgeridoo, and instruments from the east. He received both classical western and classical Indian musical education.

Adam participated in and initiated many music projects, including projects with a social/educational focus, and has a rich performance experience.

🎺 YAEL GAT · Trumpet

Meet the KULAM PROJECT ORCHESTRA MUSICIANS:

YAEL GAT is a Berlin-based trumpeter and singer that is living in Germany for almost a decade. She studied Bachelor of Music (Tel Aviv) and Master of Music (Munich). She is the founder of the "Folkadu", a jewish folk music band, where she sings, plays the trumpet and the Kudu horn, an ancient ritual instrument.

Her first encounter with the members of KULAM PROJECT took place in Koh Phangan in Thailand, and from that moment a musical bond was formed that has been maintained over the years.

Nir is the founder and space holder of KULAM project.
