Total Bitcoin Supply

The total Bitcoin supply refers to the total number of coins that have already been created or will ever be issued in the future. This number is completely transparent — anyone can verify it using a blockchain explorer.

The supply consists of two parts:

▪️coins that are yet to be mined.

This predictability is what makes Bitcoin a unique financial instrument.

As of today, more than 19 million BTC have already been mined. The remaining coins will be issued gradually over the next hundred years.
