These houses are more than a hundred years old. They were temporarily moved to lay a subway under them, and then returned back.

The robots have been "walking" synchronously for more than two weeks, walking 10 meters a day.

Amazon is getting serious about humanoid delivery robots.

Amazon has begun developing software for humanoid robots that will deliver packages in the future. A test facility has already been built, where these metal trainees are learning how to step out of vans, pick up parcels, and avoid tripping over their own feet.

The robots will work alongside AI — not just to carry boxes, but to understand where they need to go. It’s still unclear when exactly they’ll replace human couriers, but insiders hint that the first field trials could begin as early as this year.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassi, in a memo to employees, warned of staff cuts in the next few years due to plans to use artificial intelligence more actively and perform various tasks.

The introduction of generative AI should "change the way work is done" in a company, Jassi said. "We will need fewer people to perform some types of tasks, and more for others," the Amazon ceo wrote, adding that it is difficult to predict results in the long term.

Jassi also urged employees to be "interested in AI" and how to use it. "Those who accept these changes will master AI and help us improve our capabilities... They will be able to help us transform the company," he wrote.

Shopee is changing its return policy starting.

In On 19 June 2025, Shopee stops accepting refunds for the reason "the product did not fit" — now customers will not be able to return the product simply because they did not like it, the wrong color, or changed their mind about buying. Previously, it was possible to issue a refund stating “Item is in good condition but no longer needed” — now Shopee disables this option. This change applies to all sellers outside the Shopee Mall.

What does this mean? A refund is now possible only for objective reasons: defective, counterfeit, damaged, wrong product or non-conformity with the description. Everything else is no longer a reason to return. Shopee is taking a step towards the "adult" market, closer to Amazon: fewer emotional decisions, more responsibility on the part of both sellers and buyers.

Shopee Mall may be an exception — it is expected that there will still be a possibility of a refund for subjective reasons. This seriously enhances the advantages of Mall status: customer trust, more traffic, participation in promos, and flexible pricing.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have rented out ENTIRE Italian island for six days for their glamorous wedding.

The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations.

Up until now, little has been known about what may be dubbed as the wedding of the year - but a source in Italy has exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail all of the intimate details that you need to know.

According to the insider, Bezos' $500 million superyacht, Koru, will be moored off the coast of San Georgio Maggiore island, which is home to the famous Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church.

They shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on the yacht - although The Misericodria, an iconic event space in Venice, has been booked out from June 26 to June 28.

It's unclear if the space is related to their wedding, but the insider added that a private tender service is said to be taking guests from the island to the yacht.

Indonesia is changing its tax requirements for marketplaces and sellers.

The Indonesian authorities intend to oblige marketplaces to withhold taxes from sellers' income and immediately transfer them to the government.
The rate is 0.5% of the turnover, and it will affect small and medium-sized sellers with revenue ranging from ~\$30,000 to ~\$300,000 per year.

The following platforms are subject to the new regulations:

📍TikTok Shop
📍Tokopedia
📍Shopee
📍Lazada
📍Blibli
📍Bukalapak

Platforms are already expressing discontent — the innovation will increase the load and risks. But the authorities insist: online trade is growing, and the budget is sinking. The idea is not new: they tried to implement it back in 2018, but then it didn't work out.

If the trend continues, other countries may follow the same path — especially emerging markets.

Amazon cleans out 24 billion product listings.

Amazon has been working behind the scenes on a project called “Bend the Curve” since last year. As part of this initiative, the company plans to get rid of more than 24 billion product listings. The listings will include duplicate products, out-of-stock items, and listings that haven’t been updated in more than two years.

The marketplace logically decided that storing data on unnecessary products was a useless burden on its servers. When the company was headed by a new CEO, Andy Jesse, the management took on a cost-cutting strategy.

📱 TikTok Shop
— Introducing Live Product Bundles — sell timed bundle offers directly during livestreams.
— Expanding logistics with Fulfilled by TikTok now active in the UK, US, and Southeast Asia.
— Algorithm now favors content with unboxing + reaction moments — these drive higher conversion rates.

🧺 Temu
— Launching a program for branded products from small manufacturers — focus on “low price with style.”
— New sorting algorithm prioritizes time spent on listing pages, not just click-through rates.

🧾 eBay
— Testing “**Verified Brand Pages**” — storefronts with added trust signals and social proof.
— New trend-tracking API lets you monitor top-searched items in your category in real time.

🌏 Shopee
— Simplified international seller onboarding — no local legal entity required via partner integrations.
— Internal traffic ranking now splits into 3 key factors: product relevance, store rating, and shipping time — often more influential than price.

🎯 Takeaway:
Every update is either an opportunity or a risk. Sellers who adapt early always win the algorithm game.
