Telegram to issue new bonds worth $1.5 billion.

But there are no plans for an IPO yet. The messenger wants to raise $1.5 billion through a new bond issue with a yield of 9% per annum for a period of five years, according to WSJ with reference to sources.

The proceeds will be used to repay the debt on the previous 2021 bonds: at that time Telegram borrowed more than $1 billion. At the moment, the company has already bought out some of the securities for $400 million.

Trump Media & Technology Group, controlled by the family of the U.S. President, plans to raise $3 billion to invest in cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin.

If the purchase goes through, it would be one of the largest direct cryptocurrency investments by a media company.

TMTG intends to issue $2 billion in stock and raise an additional $1 billion through convertible bonds. Earlier, in March, Trump announced the creation of a national strategic cryptocurrency reserve and vowed that the United States would become the “global capital” of crypto.

However, TMTG has not yet confirmed the $3 billion cryptocurrency purchase, instead responding in its usual style by calling journalists “dumb writers who listen to even dumber sources.” The fundraising initiative is expected to be officially announced during a major crypto industry event in Las Vegas in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin continues its rally — last week, its price hit a record high of $111,000.

How сars are bought in the U.S. and Europe.

Platforms like Carvana, Vroom, and Amazon Vehicle Store have turned car buying into a kind of attraction. A customer simply orders the desired model through an app. Then, they arrive at a massive glass structure filled with cars — essentially a giant vending machine — enter a provided code, and the machine delivers their shiny new vehicle, complete with keys and prepared documents. If the car doesn’t meet expectations, it can be returned within 7 days, no questions asked. Users quickly embraced the convenience of this car shopping experience — no pushy salespeople or attempts to upsell “extra services.”

In Europe, platforms like Mobile. de, AutoScout24, Heycar, and CarNext lead the way. Not only has the purchasing process been digitized, but the entire car ownership cycle is now online: trade-in, subscription, online financing, insurance, and delivery. European marketplaces have created an ecosystem where customers get an all-in-one service — rarely interacting with salespeople. Transactions are transparent, processed quickly online, and vehicles are delivered straight to the buyer’s home.

Amazon updates requirements for sellers in the Seller Fulfilled Prime Program.

Starting June 29, 2025, Amazon sellers must ship at least 100 orders per month and meet stricter delivery timeframes. This move aims to improve service quality and increase customer trust.

Amazon has also launched a new “Haul” section featuring products under $20 — offering budget-friendly items similar to Temu’s selection. However, delivery may take up to two weeks and is not included in Prime.

These changes may influence customer choices and sellers’ strategies. What do you think — should we expect new attractive offers soon?

In Shanghai, 432 robots moved a 7,500-ton historic building complex back to its original location.

These houses are more than a hundred years old. They were temporarily moved to lay a subway under them, and then returned back.

The robots have been "walking" synchronously for more than two weeks, walking 10 meters a day.

Amazon is getting serious about humanoid delivery robots.

Amazon has begun developing software for humanoid robots that will deliver packages in the future. A test facility has already been built, where these metal trainees are learning how to step out of vans, pick up parcels, and avoid tripping over their own feet.

The robots will work alongside AI — not just to carry boxes, but to understand where they need to go. It’s still unclear when exactly they’ll replace human couriers, but insiders hint that the first field trials could begin as early as this year.

A documentary about Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov will be released on the Amazon online platform, the press service of Slon Sales House has announced.

The film "Roman Kostomarov: Born Twice" will first be available on Amazon in North America with the prospect of expanding to an international audience.

The documentary will also appear on the Film Platform educational service, which is used by more than a thousand educational institutions around the world.

"I am glad that my story resonates and inspires people in different countries. This is important to me because the main idea is never to give up, no matter what," Kostomarov said.

The film premiered in March 2024, after which the film was widely released in Russian cinemas.

Kostomarov spent almost six months in a communal apartment in 2023 due to pneumonia caused by the flu and its complications. After losing his feet and amputations on his hands, he uses prosthetics.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassi, in a memo to employees, warned of staff cuts in the next few years due to plans to use artificial intelligence more actively and perform various tasks.

The introduction of generative AI should "change the way work is done" in a company, Jassi said. "We will need fewer people to perform some types of tasks, and more for others," the Amazon ceo wrote, adding that it is difficult to predict results in the long term.

Jassi also urged employees to be "interested in AI" and how to use it. "Those who accept these changes will master AI and help us improve our capabilities... They will be able to help us transform the company," he wrote.

Shopee is changing its return policy starting.

In On 19 June 2025, Shopee stops accepting refunds for the reason "the product did not fit" — now customers will not be able to return the product simply because they did not like it, the wrong color, or changed their mind about buying. Previously, it was possible to issue a refund stating “Item is in good condition but no longer needed” — now Shopee disables this option. This change applies to all sellers outside the Shopee Mall.

What does this mean? A refund is now possible only for objective reasons: defective, counterfeit, damaged, wrong product or non-conformity with the description. Everything else is no longer a reason to return. Shopee is taking a step towards the "adult" market, closer to Amazon: fewer emotional decisions, more responsibility on the part of both sellers and buyers.

Shopee Mall may be an exception — it is expected that there will still be a possibility of a refund for subjective reasons. This seriously enhances the advantages of Mall status: customer trust, more traffic, participation in promos, and flexible pricing.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have rented out ENTIRE Italian island for six days for their glamorous wedding.

The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations.

Up until now, little has been known about what may be dubbed as the wedding of the year - but a source in Italy has exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail all of the intimate details that you need to know.

According to the insider, Bezos' $500 million superyacht, Koru, will be moored off the coast of San Georgio Maggiore island, which is home to the famous Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church.

They shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on the yacht - although The Misericodria, an iconic event space in Venice, has been booked out from June 26 to June 28.

It's unclear if the space is related to their wedding, but the insider added that a private tender service is said to be taking guests from the island to the yacht.

There's a wave of outrage on British social media.

It's worth noting that since September last year, the online retailer has implemented a fee (almost 4 pounds) for returns.

Indonesia is changing its tax requirements for marketplaces and sellers.

The Indonesian authorities intend to oblige marketplaces to withhold taxes from sellers' income and immediately transfer them to the government.
The rate is 0.5% of the turnover, and it will affect small and medium-sized sellers with revenue ranging from ~\$30,000 to ~\$300,000 per year.

The following platforms are subject to the new regulations:

📍TikTok Shop
📍Tokopedia
📍Shopee
📍Lazada
📍Blibli
📍Bukalapak

Platforms are already expressing discontent — the innovation will increase the load and risks. But the authorities insist: online trade is growing, and the budget is sinking. The idea is not new: they tried to implement it back in 2018, but then it didn't work out.

If the trend continues, other countries may follow the same path — especially emerging markets.

Shopee is changing its return policy starting.

Amazon cleans out 24 billion product listings.

Amazon has been working behind the scenes on a project called “Bend the Curve” since last year. As part of this initiative, the company plans to get rid of more than 24 billion product listings. The listings will include duplicate products, out-of-stock items, and listings that haven’t been updated in more than two years.

The marketplace logically decided that storing data on unnecessary products was a useless burden on its servers. When the company was headed by a new CEO, Andy Jesse, the management took on a cost-cutting strategy.
