Green Discourse: Journal of Ecolinguistics and Ecocriticism

Green Discourse is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated specifically to advancing scholarship in ecolinguistics and ecocriticism.

The journal publishes scholarly work that examines how language, discourse, literature, and cultural texts represent, construct, challenge, and transform relationships between humans, the environment, and the more-than-human world.

The journal publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, review articles, and special issues that contribute directly to the advancement of ecolinguistics and ecocriticism.

Our inaugural issue is scheduled for publication in November 2026, and we warmly welcome high-quality submissions from scholars around the world who are working in these fields.
