If someone calls you useless remember this:
Never let anyone to tell you that you are useless because you are not.  You are not. You are amazing. Each one of us is unique. Allah loves you. He knows you personally. He knows your challenges, he knows your struggles, he knows your tears, he knows what is going on. He knows the positives, the negatives. He knows more than you know about yourself. And he didn't make anyone of us useless.

Lesson Ten: Article: The term "article" in grammar refers to a word that defines a noun as specific or unspecific. In English, there are two types of articles: ▎1. Definite Article    • "The": This article is used to refer to a specific noun that is known…
Lesson 11th:

Tense:

Tense is a grammatical category that locates a situation in time, indicating when an action or event occurs. It is a fundamental aspect of verb conjugation in many languages, including English. Tenses can convey not only the timing of an action but also its aspect (the nature of the action), mood, and sometimes even voice.

▎Types of Tenses

1. Present Tense:

   • Simple Present: Describes habitual actions or general truths (e.g., "She reads every day").

   • Present Continuous (Progressive): Indicates actions happening right now (e.g., "She is reading").

   • Present Perfect: Connects past actions to the present (e.g., "She has read five books this month").

   • Present Perfect Continuous: Emphasizes the duration of an action that started in the past and continues into the present (e.g., "She has been reading for two hours").

2. Past Tense:

   • Simple Past: Describes actions completed in the past (e.g., "She read yesterday").

   • Past Continuous (Progressive): Indicates actions that were ongoing in the past (e.g., "She was reading when I called").

   • Past Perfect: Describes an action completed before another past action (e.g., "She had read the book before the meeting").

   • Past Perfect Continuous: Emphasizes the duration of an action that was ongoing before another past action (e.g., "She had been reading for two hours before dinner").

3. Future Tense:

   • Simple Future: Describes actions that will happen (e.g., "She will read tomorrow").

   • Future Continuous (Progressive): Indicates actions that will be ongoing at a specific time in the future (e.g., "She will be reading at 8 PM").

   • Future Perfect: Describes an action that will be completed before a specific future time (e.g., "She will have read the book by then").

   • Future Perfect Continuous: Emphasizes the duration of an action up until a specific future point (e.g., "She will have been reading for two hours by 8 PM").

▎Aspect

Aspect refers to the nature of the action in relation to time:

• Simple Aspect: Focuses on the action itself without additional context.

• Continuous Aspect: Indicates ongoing actions.

• Perfect Aspect: Connects past actions to present or future contexts.

• Perfect Continuous Aspect: Emphasizes the duration of an ongoing action leading up to another time.

▎Mood

Mood expresses the speaker's attitude toward the action:

• Indicative Mood: States facts or asks questions (e.g., "She reads").

• Imperative Mood: Gives commands or requests (e.g., "Read this!").

• Subjunctive Mood: Expresses wishes, hypotheticals, or conditions contrary to fact (e.g., "If she were to read...").

▎Voice

Voice indicates whether the subject performs or receives the action:

• Active Voice: The subject performs the action (e.g., "The cat chased the mouse").

• Passive Voice: The subject receives the action (e.g., "The mouse was chased by the cat").

▎Summary

Understanding tense is crucial for effective communication, as it helps convey when actions occur and their relationship to other events. Mastery of tense usage enhances clarity and precision in both spoken and written language.
