عبارتی که می خواهیم با کاربرد آن آشنا شویم عبارت my bad است. عبارت my bad زمانی استفاده می شود که شخصی کار اشتباهی انجام داده یا صحبت اشتباهی بیان کرده و می خواهد مسولیت کار یا صحبت اشتباه را بپذیرد. این عبارت در ترجمه به صورت ‘اشتباه من بود’ یا ‘من مقصرم’ ترجمه می شود. به دو مثال توجه کنید:
