✅ Bank Transfers Are Now Live on EBR

Following our earlier announcement, we're pleased to confirm that Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and Bank of Abyssinia (BOA) are now available as payment methods on EBR... effective immediately.

You can add your bank account details under Settings → Payment Methods and start trading right away.

A reminder on responsible use: Bank transfers are best suited for larger transactions where mobile money limits may be a constraint. For everyday trades, we continue to recommend mobile money methods (Telebirr, CBE Birr, M-Pesa)... they settle faster and carry lower friction.

As noted in our previous announcement, EBR facilitates secure P2P trading but has no control over individual bank policies. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring their transactions comply with their bank's terms of service.
