We are adding Didit as our primary KYC verification option on EBR.
Didit offers fast, simple identity verification: government ID and a selfie, done in under 2 minutes. No waiting days for manual review. Our existing document upload system stays fully intact as an alternative for those who prefer it.
This is not our final position on KYC. We are actively working toward a near-decentralized option that keeps user documents off any third party server entirely. Didit is the best available bridge until we get there.
The integration goes live today or tomorrow.

We identified and resolved a security issue earlier today where certain user documents uploaded during the verification process were stored in a way that could have allowed unauthorized access.
The issue has been fully fixed. All affected files have been secured retroactively, and new uploads are now protected by default.
Your account credentials, balances, and transaction data were not affected.
What you should do?
No action is required on your part. Your documents are now fully secured.

🔐 Security Notice: Data Exposure During Infrastructure Migration
We are writing to inform our community of a security incident that occurred during our recent database migration from Neon to Supabase.
What happened:
During the migration window, Row Level Security (RLS) was not enabled immediately on our new database. This created a brief period during which unauthorized parties were able to query and export user account data directly from our Supabase instance.
No passwords, private keys, wallet seeds, or financial transaction details were exposed.
What we have done:
> RLS has been fully enabled on all database tables, closing the exposure window completely
> Our infrastructure has been hardened with additional access controls
> We are conducting a full audit of all access logs from the affected period
What you should do:
> Be alert to phishing emails or messages impersonating EBR Exchange... your email address may have been obtained by a third party
> If you receive suspicious contact asking for passwords, OTPs, or fund transfers, do not engage
> Your funds and private credentials remain secure
We take full responsibility for this oversight and sincerely apologize for the breach of trust.
