TSMC will begin accepting 2nm chip orders on April 1, aiming for 50,000 wafers per month by the end of 2025, according to China Times. Apple $AAPL is expected to be the first customer, using the $TSM's 2nm process for its upcoming A20 chip in the iPhone 18 lineup.
Others like AMD, Intel, Broadcom, and AWS are also in line early for 2nm capacity. With yields now above 60%, TSMC is scaling up production across its Kaohsiung and Baoshan facilities, and launching a CyberShuttle service to help customers lower costs by testing on shared wafers.
