We are excited to announce the first eSkillz competition of 2023... Stream of Dreams kicks off today, and here is everything you need to know.
What is the Stream of Dreams Competition?
Stream of Dreams is a new weekly giveaway for the eSkillz community. Beta players and content creation will be rewarded and supported.
The competitions will run from Monday - Monday. Streamers will get the eSkillz Streamer role and will be able to enter the weekly contest, and on Monday, all roles will be reset, and we will go again. So as an example, if you get your role on Friday, it will be removed on Monday after the competition has been drawn.
How to win >
Get eSkillz Streamer role in Discord > Automatically open a hidden giveaway channel > Enter the competition on the giveaway bot.
How to get the eSkillz Streamer role in Discord >
1) Stream the Beta in Discord at least 3 times over the 7 days. Stream in the Streaming Lobby.
2) Stream on Twitch or YouTube, share the live link and tag us on Twitter. (Don't forget to add your Discord ID to the Tweet)
3) Record your gameplay and upload it to Twitter and tag us. (Don't forget to add your Discord ID to the Tweet)
Rewards
Over the weeks/months, the rewards will change. Rewards will be chosen by design to support eSkillz and the web3 space. Rewards will be things like Merch, NFTs, Raffle Tickets, Whitelists and other goodies.
eSkillz will also fully support participants. We will comment, like, and retweet content and streams shared and, in future, arrange Twitter, YouTube and Twitch raids supporting the content creators.
So if you have always wanted to start streaming or making content but have never known where to start, start with eSkillz.
This is also a good stepping stone towards being considered for the eSkillz Brand Ambassador Program that will be launched in the future. More information on this will be released soon.
Week one reward is a chance to get your hands on the very first batch of eSkillz Merch. To be shipped globally. This is a very limited supply, and the winner can choose from T-shirts, hats or hoodies.
In summary

It has been a while since the last announcement, so I am keen to give you all some news.
Let's start with the current Pool Beta and today's update V1.23.
Pool Beta
Perfect Potter will always be a fan favourite, and it has gone down well. It's five weeks since the V1.21 update and Perfect Potter launch, and we have dropped two updates since.
These updates have mainly been bug fixes, but we have had some cool features and quality-of-life tweaks. For example, music settings and SFX tweaks have made the game more immersive. We have also worked hard on account creation and the game download process while automatically adding some test $MATIC to new wallets to make experiencing the beta even easier.
Players now have social profiles and can add all their social media profile links. In addition, you can check each other's profiles via the leaderboard. The plan in future will be to add friends, individual player stats and even factions.

Known Issues
We know there is an issue with the "auto-update" button in V1.22, which has been fixed in V1.23. Therefore, you will need to install the V1.23 version by registering on the website, or if you have already done that, you should receive an email shortly. This only applies to Android and Desktop.
If you are on IOS there is usually a 10-20 hour delay from when we push it to Apple for approval and before it gets updated on Testflight. Unfortunately, this means every time we update the game to a new version IOS players will have a window of 10-20 hours where they can not play the game. We are working on a better solution for the future.
Golf Beta
We have decided to delay the Golf Beta, we want to improve many things on the beta before public release, and the team are also working hard on tournament mode.
Instead of having separate beta downloads, the team has decided to build a Hub to house both games and maybe an Easter egg or two. We will keep you updated on the launch weekly.
Website
We have made some continual tweaks to the website and also added a new litepaper. We are in the process of a bigger website update to bring us more inline with our vision for eSkillz. More news on this soon.
Competitions
Right now, the <#1073635544082419823> competition is live. Thanks very much to everyone participating in the beta testing, and make sure you make the most of this bug bounties comp. Check the channel for the rules and rewards.
Later this week, we will launch a different competition based on in-game scores. Rewards and rules will be announced on Twitter and Discord soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Last week was a busy week as we onboarded two new team members. Kate has joined the marketing team as a Marketer Intern, and Francisco has joined the development team as a Unity Dev Intern.
We are very excited to welcome them to the growing eSkillz team; they have already made an immediate impact.
