🟢 eProvider for ChatGPT — Installation Guide
Follow these simple steps to install the extension on Chrome (or any Chromium browser like Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc):
Step 1 — Download Download the ZIP file attached to this message and save it anywhere on your computer (e.g., Desktop).
Step 2 — Extract the ZIP Right-click the downloaded ZIP file → "Extract All..." → Choose a location you'll remember (e.g., create a folder called eProvider on your Desktop).
⚠️ Important: Do NOT delete this folder after installation. Chrome needs it to keep the extension working.
Step 3 — Open Chrome Extensions Page Open Chrome and type this in the address bar:
Press Enter.
Step 4 — Enable Developer Mode In the top-right corner of the extensions page, toggle "Developer mode" ON.
Step 5 — Load the Extension Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears in the top-left. Navigate to the folder you extracted in Step 2 — select the chrome folder (the one that contains manifest.json inside it) — and click "Select Folder".
Step 6 — Done! ✅ You should now see "eProvider for ChatGPT" in your extensions list. The icon will appear in your browser toolbar.
💡 Tip: Click the puzzle piece icon 🧩 in Chrome's toolbar and pin the eProvider extension for easy access.
⚠️ Important Notes:
"Remove developer mode extensions" popup — Chrome may show a popup at startup asking to disable developer mode extensions. Just click "Cancel" or dismiss it. The extension will keep working.
Do NOT delete the extracted folder — If you delete or move the folder, the extension will stop working. Keep it in a safe place.
For Microsoft Edge users — The steps are identical, but use edge://extensions instead of chrome://extensions.
For Brave users — Use brave://extensions.
