He participated in the panel "Unified Liquidity—Enhancing the User Experience" alongside Sergej Kunz, Co-Founder of 1inch Network; Chris Carapola, Co-Founder & CEO of Curvance; Matthew P., DeFi Lead at LayerZero Labs; and Tigran Bolshoi, Co-Founder of Kinetex Network.

Eugene shared that the key behind DeFi is solving real world problems — sharing that crypto's characteristics of accessibility and being permissionless can be integral to solving issues.

DeFi offers decentralised financial services to underserved populations in TradFi, and he shared that DeFi go-to-market strategies should be mindful of regulatory policies in various regions worldwide.

3️⃣ An example of a new approach to NFTs is Telegram stickers, offering fresh and innovative value to the NFT model.

Memecoins were a key point of discussion during #TOKEN2049 💬

Andrei Grachev, Managing Partner of DWF Labs, spoke during the panel "Memecoins: Fleeting Trend or Crypto Evolution?" alongside Sandra Leow, Murad Mahmudov, Ansem, and Mike Dudas. Check out some takeaways below 👇


1️⃣ Andrei shared that memecoins are a key user acquisition tool not just for L1 and L2 chains, but for the crypto industry overall.

2️⃣ Users are attracted to memecoins for entertainment, and memecoins are a catalyst for onboarding new users into crypto.

3️⃣ Andrei shared that from an investor's perspective, memecoins give fast feedback on whether an investment is successful.

4️⃣ As there are millions of memecoins being launched, memecoins need to have a compelling narrative and a proper project structure to be successful.

5️⃣ He shared that teams with good narratives and a strong community of users and influencers can outperform VC coins on the market in the long run.

Alessia discussed key strategies with Benedetto Biondi, Michael Cotton, and Marc Bernier. Read some key points below 👇

1️⃣ Alessia shared that projects should be strategic about whether they need a token, and focus on adding as much utility as possible for higher token demand.

2️⃣ Whether to aim for increasing profitability or acquiring market share depends on the stage of the project.

3️⃣ She recommended that early-stage projects (pre-seed, seed round, or pre-TGE) aim for increasing market share.

4️⃣ Market share can be increased by first doing thorough research — understanding competitors' partnerships and which chains they are building on, as well as competitors' narratives.

5️⃣ Later-stage projects (post-TGE) can aim more for profitability, and goals will change depending on project stage.
