📢Rwanda Embassy Update:
Starting in June 2021, the Embassy will resume processing of a limited number of Diversity Visa 2021 applicants. The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) will schedule all appointments and the Consular Section does not have information regarding when individual appointments will be scheduled.

We are working diligently to resolve our backlog as quickly as possible. As a result, we will not accept requests to transfer cases from other Embassies unless the petitioner or beneficiary is a resident of Colombia, Venezuela, or the Dutch Caribbean islands, or the beneficiary is legally present in Colombia and will remain so for the entire period of the immigrant visa process. Please provide proof of your legal presence in Colombia with your transfer request. Note that acceptance of a transfer request does not necessarily mean we will expedite or prioritize your case.
