🧠 It’s a bug, not a feature

OpenAI launched GPT-6 Cyber, a model that finds software flaws and writes exploits. The company says researchers used it to uncover 81 high-severity Firefox vulnerabilities and build working exploits for 948 Linux kernel flaws.

OpenAI rates its cybersecurity capabilities as critical and is starting with a small group of vetted security teams.

Microsoft found a vulnerability in Paint for Windows 11 that could let attackers run code remotely without any action from the user. The company listed a fix on October 13, but some users say the Microsoft Store still shows no updates even though they’re running an older version.
