Duel's First Original Slot — Provably Fair & 100% RTP
Slots are by far the most popular game on crypto casinos. But they've always been a black box. Trust the providers because of their RNG "licenses" (which mean nothing), and pray that the company is benevolent enough to not rig you. Provably fair has been the standard for crypto casino originals for over 10 years now. Why hasn't that standard been expanded to slots?
Some feeble attempts have been made in the past, usually with flawed provably fair systems, withdrawal restrictions, and other gotchas. But none that actually worked properly, and certainly never with 100% RTP.
The new standard Duel set in the industry last year that you know and love — rock-solid provable fairness, the best possible odds in the industry, and instant, unlimited withdrawals — has finally come to slots. Introducing the first Duel original slot (of many), and the world's first ever provably fair 100% RTP slot: Groomer's Van. Exclusively on Duel.

The influencer manager scam has got to stop.
We’ve been outspoken against fake balance streamers, streamers faking their stats, and all sorts of scams going on, but we didn’t realize the extent to which even the middlemen scam. “Streamer agencies” taking huge cuts out of the deal while providing absolutely no value and sometimes actively scamming both sides.
Duel was just scammed by a popular streamer manager in the space. We were promised a deal where Andrew Tate would deal blackjack for one of our live games. When he arrived at the studio, we realized we had been rugged. The person that stood in front of us bore some resemblance, but he wasn’t the real Andrew Tate. It was an impostor. By this point we are too far in and the costs have been incurred, so we are forced to run with it to save face.
This scamming has gone on for far too long. As an industry, we have to stand up together both against these rent seeking middlemen who add no value to deals and the agencies that outright scam casinos by bait and switching either with fake stats or fake influencers. If you’re going to promise one influencer, don’t deliver another. Scamming a casino is one of the worst takes in business we’ve heard, and we can’t be alone in hearing it. So here you go. Please be careful dealing with these agencies. We are still in a mild state of shock and can't believe this is actually happening.

I'm in absolute shock and I'm not really sure where to start with this one, so I'll just start. After our mixup with the agency, which was chalked up to a misunderstanding, we were told that the real Andrew Tate was confirmed. Our team went in to verify the deal. Full verification came back to me personally from people I trusted. I am now being told that this verification was conducted via a sinister insider attack (MITM, in technical terms) where the agency colluded with a number of blackjack dealers to confirm via professional method acting that the real Andrew Tate was present in the building. We were also sent an image generated by a Large Language Model of Andrew Tate sitting at the table. It was a fake. We were scammed again. Yet again, the fake "performer" impostor was at the table. To add insult to injury. It was the same guy. They didn't even have the courtesy to send a different scammer.
I'm sick to my stomach, shocked, stunned, and embarrassed. I don't really know how to feel or what to say. I've put so much work into building this brand over the years. I've worked hard on my reputation, always doing the right thing. Putting that at risk over something like this is unthinkable. I put my neck on the line here trusting someone. And I don't trust easily. It was a mistake again. A lot of people have wronged me throughout my life. I've trusted the wrong people, I've made bad decisions, and I'll admit that I'm certainly not a perfect person. No one is, especially not me. We all have flaws... Mine can be hubris. I won't deny that. But I never thought I would have to distrust my own eyes. I saw the picture. I heard the words of my team confirm that it was truly him. Was I supposed to have expected this sophisticated conspiracy? Betrayed by my own blackjack dealers? Was I to have expected that they would bite the hand that feeds? Maybe I should have. Maybe I should have known better by now.
I'm going to do everything in my power to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again. This isn't what Duel stands for. We always want to do right by our users. But... More importantly, and more honestly, I don't want to do this to myself again. I've always been a smart guy. Very smart, even. Sometimes. Sometimes very dumb. It depends on the day. Haha. But I know for a fact that for the next few months, I'll always be looking over my shoulder. Dotting every i and crossing every t. I won't be able to trust any picture. I can't even trust my own team's word. Fires will be made, restructuring will be done. The fabric of this team, and likely the modelling of my neurons, will carefully change over time until I am satisfied that I will never be wronged in this way again. Having it done this way is a bit brutal. Betrayed by my own senses, betrayed by my own team, and betrayed by an external set of individuals who I put my faith in. Some of those dealers came from nothing and aren't being paid very much. I gave them a chance. I even allowed them to be free with their voice. And this is how they repay me, by colluding with the scam agency. My hands were initially shaking when all of this happened for a second time, but now I just feel... Numb. I know I need to fix this, to make sure it doesn't happen again. But I also don't feel like doing anything at all. Somehow this has left me demotivated. A bit empty. I haven't felt like that in a long time. Gonna spend a few days with my parents, the tops and bottoms been a lot lately. I'm really sorry guys, I didn't want for any of this to happen and I'll do better.

Congrats to our buddies at Stake for making their in-house slots provably fair. Actually pretty based ngl. Really good direction for the industry to be moving in
Stake's original slots are still at about 2-3% house edge, which means players are losing 100s of millions in aggregate compared to what they could be saving on a 0% or even 1% edge slot.
We hope Eddie finds it in his heart to move the house edge in a better direction on Stake too. He's been increasing it recently for the originals, but maybe he can like, stop. We'd be willing to hire him as a blackjack dealer if he needs extra cash
Anyway, you can play Groomer's Van on Duel which is the world's only 100% RTP slot and also provably fair. We are waiting for some competition who can meet us on both fronts... It's getting lonely being the best, but someone's gotta do it

Shuffle's latest original game launched with a 2% edge. Surprise surprise, following in Stake's footsteps and slowly increasing their house edge.
Counterintuitively, the existence of Duel allows smarter casinos to push up their house edge.
Naive casinos with less intelligent owners will have their instant reaction be to reduce their house edge in a scammy way (provide a fake 100% RTP, either with severe withdrawal or wager restrictions, shitty game rules, or just lying about it). We saw these methods with Metawin, BCGame, and Gamdom.
Smarter casinos realize that the smarter players have moved to Duel anyway. Anyone who cares about house edge and value for money is already attracted to the best deal, therefore it's not possible to attract those users by providing a worse deal — the smart user will catch it out and stick to Duel. The only way to poach this class of smart user from Duel is to provide a genuinely better deal, which every casino refuses to do (they don't want to lose millions, or in Stake's case, billions of dollars).
If you know that smart users — users that are paying attention and care about going where they're treated best — have already transferred over to Duel, the GTO solution is to increase the house edge on the remaining player base, because you know for a fact that they are likely to be more edge insensitive and aren't going to go somewhere else to seek out a better deal. If, despite Duel's existence, they're still playing a game with a 10x worse edge, you can assume they are pretty sticky. Therefore, you can bump up the edge and start printing even more profit from them, as you know that it won't result in nearly a proportional reduction in wager volume.
This is a factor into why Stake has started to publish their new originals with a 2% house edge. And Shuffle has started down this road too.
Let's take an example of a Plat IV user on Stake. Expected loss at 2% house edge on the required volume = $50k. Expected loss at 1% house edge = $25k. Expected loss at 0.1% house edge (Duel) = $2.5k. Or if your individual bets are under $1k... 0 edge, so $0 expected loss.
We feel bad for the non-smart players who constantly continue to pay the stupidity tax, and it seems that this tax will only continue to go up in the coming years.

Felix is brazenly accusing me of being behind the midgets Scientology raid (without evidence, obviously). Genuinely insane the depths he will go to to frame me.
Half hearted attempt to link it to me with the camo shirts, but he couldn't resist putting Gamdom branding all over to promote himself since he knew it would go viral. And then to top it all off, he executes it as a Duel false flag, publicly putting the blame on us and naming me, by my legal name, so that we get the heat from Scientology and not him.
Gross stuff overall, glad the gambling community is seeing through it for the most part.

I'm proud to have witnessed Monarch's personal growth over the years, and all of it has culminated towards this. At 2:30 pm UTC (in around 30 mins) today, Monarch will be addressing all of you. There is a major announcement — an apology for the past, and plans for things to come.
The address will happen on Duel Blackjack.
We'll post a link here once it starts.
