IndiGo, India’s largest airline, triggered major travel chaos for UAE-India passengers after cancelling hundreds of flights due to a severe operational crisis caused by newly enforced pilot duty-time and night-flying restrictions. Many travellers reported long delays, cancellations, and soaring ticket prices that made switching airlines difficult. In response to the nationwide disruption, India’s aviation ministry temporarily suspended the new rules, saying the move was meant to protect passengers who rely on timely travel.
