How fitting that Vesta stationed retrograde today and then took with her one of the greatest home fires burning for so many of us.

I grew up spending every summer mere miles from Sevierville and her hometown holler of Locust Grove. Dolly has been in my blood since I can remember.

I am incredibly aggravated that I am seemingly more white-passing to bigoted customers at work than I am to other white people. And the bigots want to talk to be about their bigoted opinions. And I do not want to hear their nonsense. But I am at work, so I can only say "Hm", "I see", and "I hadn't heard that one, no, sir".

Truly can't imagine having a political viewpoint I felt I had to be sheepish about. If you're embarrassed about your political ideology, why have that one? My conservative family are well aware I'm an anarchist. Say it with ya whole chest or don't say it.
